While I have a half-written post about Tend's use of AI for doctors notes, Dr. Peter Attia had an excellent recent podcast about it. I found it really good to get an idea of where doctors view this, and where it's likely to be useful.
A lot of their thinking fitted right in with mine - this is never going to replace a doctor and shouldn't be used to diagnose, but doctors are some of the most time poor people on the planet, so having advanced tools to help them do their job is a good thing.
Attia is a doctor, and the person he interviewed - Isaac Kohane - sits right in between being a doctor, a computer scientist and an AI researcher.
As a lay-person, I found it easy to understand, but I think someone with medical training would find it very useful, as there is a huge amount of hype around AI in medicine.
The podcast - The Peter Attia Drive - is on the usual places (Apple Podcasts, Overcast, etc)
