Apple surprised me by approving the latest mobileAgent in around 24 hours. So surprised, that I've not yet updated the website!
[And, of course, there was a bug in the Invoice part. Details are here, and the update - v1.6.1 - is now in the AppStore]
Whats new?
The first is Invoices. You can now view your outstanding, overdue and draft invoices on the Invoice tab. You can also drill into the invoice to see what the terms are and other information about it.
The second is the addition of a locking / pin number screen. Some people have asked for this, and it's quite an easy thing to do. You can set a pin at the bottom of the settings screen, and if you set it, you will be asked for it each time you open or switch to mobileAgent. You can set a pin of as many digits as you like.
NOTE that there is no backdoor to this. If you set a pin, and forget it, you can't get into the app (you'd have to delete it, and reinstall)
In addition to various bug fixes, this version works a lot better under iOS5. I don't expect to have to make a new build for the release of iOS5, but also none of the changes were major, which is good.
As always, this is free for existing customers, and the My Accountant Friend version with the same features is in review. This may be the last release of mobileAgent for a while. I have a few other projects I want to start, and this one has had my attention for nearly 12 months. Obviously, any bugs will be fixed quickly, and once FreeAgent come out with v2 of their API, I'll switch over to using that and reconsider any features which I've shelved due to something lacking in the API.
